Allen Onyeoma, the CEO of Air Peace, has asserted that individuals earning two hundred thousand Naira monthly in Nigeria fare better economically than those earning two thousand pounds in the United Kingdom.

Onyeoma made these remarks during his appearance as a guest on TVC, where he discussed the economic challenges and the strength of the Naira. He acknowledged that a significant portion of the economic crisis is “artificial.”

Highlighting the currency’s purchasing power, Onyeoma compared the living standards in Nigeria and the UK. He emphasized that earning two thousand pounds monthly in London would not provide a comfortable lifestyle, equating its purchasing power to that of two thousand Naira.

Continuing, Onyeoma stressed that individuals earning two hundred thousand Naira in Nigeria have a comparatively better financial standing. He illustrated that with this income, Nigerians can afford domestic help such as maids and drivers, among other amenities.

Expressing his confidence in the Naira’s value, Onyeoma urged Nigerians to reassess their perception of the currency compared to foreign currencies, emphasizing that it holds more value than commonly perceived.
