APC Hits Back At El-Rufai: “Stop Pointing Fingers When Four Are Pointing Back At You
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken a swipe at former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, accusing him of becoming the very future he once predicted for others.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
In a post on its official account on Friday, the ruling party likened El-Rufai’s conduct to “pointing one finger at others while four point back,” suggesting hypocrisy in his recent actions.
“Mallam Nasir El-Rufai is now living a future foretold by none other than himself… a stellar example of pointing one finger at others with four pointing back,” the APC wrote.
The party further warned against giving weight to those who “speak with sound and fury” but conceal “the harrowing hollowness” within.
El-Rufai, a founding member of the APC, left the party in March 2025 to join the Social Democratic Party (SDP), a move that stirred political debate nationwide.
Meanwhile, former Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido, has urged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to bring back ex-President Goodluck Jonathan as its strongest candidate for the 2027 presidential election.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Friday, Lamido described Jonathan as the PDP’s “best bet” due to his leadership experience, inclusive governance style, and proven ability to work across political divides.
“If the presidency goes to the South, Jonathan is unmatched within the PDP,” Lamido argued, noting that the former president had already navigated the complexities of national leadership and maintained strategic alliances.
His comments add fuel to growing speculation over Jonathan’s potential return to the PDP to contest the 2027 election.
