Sources reveal that Promise Ogunse, the first son of the founder of The Light of God Miracle Embassy Church Worldwide, is the main suspect in the murder. Last week, Promise invited the victim to a hotel in Ilorin, where she was later found dead at a dumpsite. Reports suggest that hotel staff may have been involved in disposing of the body after the assailants fled.
The police have detained both Promise Ogunse and his father, Prophet Ogunse, at the Ilorin police headquarters. Kwara State Police Command spokesperson DSP Toun Ejire-Adeyemi stated she would provide a response later, but as of the time of this report, no further updates have been given.
