Ikechukwu Ani, the Head of Press and Public Relations of the commission, conveyed the chairman’s message, emphasizing that for PPROs to forge successful careers, they must embrace their role as servants of the people, always ready to provide information.

Dr. Arase made these remarks during the opening ceremony of the Annual Conference of the Police Public Relations Officers in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. He acknowledged the challenging nature of the work, emphasizing the need for dedication and commitment at all levels of Police Public Relations.

Highlighting the fundamental purpose of communication, Dr. Arase stressed the importance of building trust with citizens, emphasizing that information from the public should be treated with the utmost confidence.

He noted the evolving landscape of crime, describing it as a “mobile enterprise,” and underscored the imperative for information sharing. Dr. Arase, represented by Mr. Ani, the Public Relations Officer of the Commission, expressed the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force’s management to the Annual Conference.
