Emphasizing the need for a robust education sector, Tinubu highlighted the importance of continuous investment in education to equip Nigerian graduates with the skills needed in an ever-evolving world. He affirmed his determination to enhance the qualitative education system across all levels, positioning Nigeria as a strong contender on the global stage.

President Tinubu underscored ongoing initiatives aimed at revitalizing the economy, prioritizing education, and fostering entrepreneurial opportunities for young people. Acknowledging the challenges faced by the nation, including poverty, insecurity, and political instability, he expressed confidence in the potential of graduates and the university system to contribute significantly to overcoming these challenges.

In addressing the nation’s economic concerns, President Tinubu assured that his administration would focus on economic revival and the protection of lives and property. He called for increased support from citizens and collective efforts to elevate the country to greater heights.

During the convocation ceremony, Chancellor Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar congratulated the graduands, urging them to remain focused on academic achievements and to give back to their alma mater. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Simeon Bamire, expressed gratitude to President Tinubu and the Minister of Education for their continuous support, noting the President’s commitment to addressing salary issues and revenue deductions.
