The examination will be conducted across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, representing a key stage in the selection process.
This phase follows the nationwide physical and credentials screening exercise, which is scheduled to conclude on April 18.
Authorities noted that the Computer-Based Test (CBT) will play a major role in determining the eligibility of candidates for recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force.
In a statement released by the Sokoto State Police Command, the Police Public Relations Officer, Ahmad Rufa’i, described the test as an essential part of the process.
“The Computer-Based Aptitude Test is a critical phase designed to ensure that only suitably qualified candidates are recruited into the Nigeria Police Force,” he said.
Rufa’i further explained that the duration of the test in each state will depend on the number of applicants and the availability of functional CBT centres.
He added that while some states may complete the exercise within a day, others could require the full three-day period.
“The scheduling is flexible to accommodate operational realities across states, but every eligible candidate will be given a fair opportunity to participate,” he stated.
Candidates have been advised to remain patient and await official updates regarding their test centres and the list of shortlisted applicants.
He also urged applicants to rely only on verified information, noting that all details will be communicated through official channels.
The command warned against misinformation and emphasised that updates on the recruitment process will only be shared via authorised platforms.
