Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has called for Andrew Mountbatten Windsor to be removed from the royal line of succession, describing his conduct as “deplorable.”....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Speaking to reporters in Tokyo, Carney said that Andrew’s actions, which led to him being stripped of his royal titles, “necessitate” his removal from the succession.

King Charles III revoked Andrew’s prince status in October due to his close association with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Despite this, the former prince, King Charles’s younger brother, remains eighth in line to the throne.

As head of state in Canada—a member of the Commonwealth—King Charles III’s decisions carry symbolic weight across former colonies.

Carney, a former governor of the Bank of England, noted that while Mountbatten Windsor ranks “well down” the line of succession, “the point of principle stands.”

He added that a formal process exists to remove someone from the line of succession, and authorities should implement it.

Under current succession rules, Charles’s son, Prince William, is heir to the throne, followed by his three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Carney’s statement increases international political pressure on the British royal family to take further action against Andrew, whose connection with Epstein has tarnished the monarchy’s reputation.

The Canadian leader’s call underscores growing unease among Commonwealth nations regarding Andrew’s continued place in the succession despite losing his royal titles and official duties.
