The raid took place in a remote area known for harboring criminal gangs involved in various illicit activities, including banditry, kidnapping, and armed robbery. Intelligence reports had indicated that the area served as a base for notorious kingpins responsible for terrorizing nearby communities.

As the security forces closed in on the hideout, they encountered fierce resistance from the well-armed criminals entrenched in the area. A fierce gun battle ensued, lasting for several hours as both sides exchanged heavy gunfire and explosives.
