Delta Community Leader Unveils Land Dispute’s Deadly Consequences: Soldiers Killed In Okuama Conflict....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

In the wake of the tragic murder of military personnel in Delta State, community leader Olorogun Sleek Oshare has shed light on the underlying cause, attributing it to a land dispute.

Last week, sixteen military officers were killed in the Okuama community of Delta State while on a peacekeeping mission. Oshare, speaking on Channels TV, revealed that the military personnel were deployed to the area to mediate a land dispute between Okuama and a neighboring community.

According to Oshare, the conflict stemmed from a dispute between two families over land ownership, a common occurrence in the region. One community suspected the other of having military connections and felt unjustly pressured. Oshare emphasized that the pressure was disproportionately directed towards Okuama, leaving them without adequate representation.

Contrary to ethnic interpretations, Oshare clarified that the dispute was purely between individuals and Okoloba, the neighboring community, which appeared to have more influential connections. Notably, the involved families hold significant positions in society, indicating a need for thorough investigation to uncover the truth.

Oshare cautioned against hastily assigning blame, urging Nigerians to be cautious in their judgments as some may seek to incite authorities against the people of Okuama.

The insightful analysis provided by Olorogun Sleek Oshare sheds light on the complexities of the situation and emphasizes the importance of careful consideration before drawing conclusions in such delicate matters.
