In a statement shared via its official X handle on Saturday, the anti-graft agency said it had observed a growing trend of skit makers and online creators incorporating EFCC branding and imagery into their content without approval.
The EFCC noted that many of these unauthorised skits misrepresent its values and operational standards, stressing that it has not granted permission for such usage in any form of entertainment or promotional material.
The statement further clarified that the commission does not endorse, sponsor, or approve any comedy, drama, or digital content that features its identity without formal consent. It therefore directed the public to immediately stop using its name, logo, uniforms, or related symbols in skits or productions without prior written approval, warning that violators would be prosecuted.
