Expressing concern over the escalating issue, he insisted that decisive and proactive measures must be implemented to curb the illicit activities. The Emir conveyed his firm stance on the matter, stating, “This ugly trend must stop. We have to rise up against it. We will no longer condone a situation whereby our children are kidnapped, sold, and their tribe and religion changed.”

Highlighting the severity of the situation, he called for collective efforts to address the crisis, emphasizing the need to halt the unlawful acts that are adversely affecting the well-being of Northern children. The Emir concluded by underscoring the urgency of the matter, as he remarked, “This illicit act must stop. We have to rise up to check the situation as it is getting out of hand. It happened a few years ago and it has happened again. Only God knows how many of our children have been kidnapped and sold.
