During a meeting at the State House, President Tinubu received the All Progressives Congress Women Leaders from the 36 States and Federal Capital Territory, led by the APC National Woman Leader, @edu_betta.

One of these initiatives is the Students’ Loan Scheme, which President Tinubu stated will ensure stable academic calendars for students in tertiary institutions. He also highlighted the importance of security, acknowledging that women bear the cost of insecurity. President Tinubu reassured the women that his administration is addressing security challenges at the highest level.

Furthermore, President Tinubu emphasized the need for improved healthcare facilities and the pursuit of industrialization. He assured the women that these priorities will create employment opportunities for their children and relatives.

President Tinubu commended the women leaders for their support during the campaigns and elections, praising their dedication and hard work. He acknowledged the obstacles they overcame, such as fuel scarcity and currency challenges, and promised that their efforts would be rewarded.

As the newly appointed ECOWAS Chairman, President Tinubu acknowledged the additional responsibility this role brings. He pledged to continue working tirelessly for a better Nigeria, expressing confidence in the future of the country.

President Tinubu emphasized the importance of unity and an open-door policy. He encouraged the women leaders to be accommodating of others from different parties who wish to join the administration. He also tasked them with educating citizens about the government’s policies and programs, assuring them that the present difficulties are temporary.

In her remarks, APC National Woman Leader Edu congratulated President Tinubu on his victory at the polls and highlighted his remarkable records as Governor of Lagos State. She appealed for increased representation of women in government positions.
