Vice President Kashim Shettima has affirmed that every region in Nigeria will experience the positive impact of the government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration. In a statement by his spokesman, Stanley Nwocha, Shettima provided this assurance during a courtesy visit by a delegation led by HRH John Hirse, the Mishkahan Mwaghavul, a traditional ruler from Mangu in Plateau State. The vice president assured the delegation of a swift restoration of peace in Mangu, stating that President Tinubu is actively addressing the situation and working towards bringing peace to all troubled areas in the country.

Shettima stated, “The crisis in Plateau State has nothing to do with religion. It is just for us to understand ourselves and coexist peacefully with one another. Plateau State is a blessed land with both Muslims and Christians. What binds us together supersedes what divides us.”

He further pledged the administration’s commitment to deploying all necessary resources to address political contradictions, restore peace, and foster harmony in Plateau State. Shettima emphasized the need to address internal contradictions, political connotations, and ethnic undertones in the conflict, working towards a lasting solution for the benefit of the nation’s peace and development.

In his remarks, HRH John Putmang Hirse expressed gratitude to the vice president for personally attending his coronation, emphasizing that Shettima is seen as a father to all.
