Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State has granted approval for the designation of 36 individuals to assume leadership roles in various government offices and positions within his administration. The objective behind these appointments is to elevate the efficiency and functionality of various government agencies in the state. The appointments are also geared towards promoting development and enhancing service delivery across Katsina State.
Among the notable appointments are Alhaji Badamasi Ya’u-Yantumaki as the Director General of the Katsina State Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) and Alhaji Muhammad Lawal-Matazu as the General Manager of the Katsina State Assets Management Agency.
Other key appointments include Alhaji Ibrahim Lawal-Dankaba as the Executive Director of the Katsina State Small Town and Water Sanitation Agency (STOWASSA), Dr Mudassir Nasir as the Coordinator of the Katsina State Social Investment Programme Agency (KTSIPA), and Hajiya Karima Abdulkarim as the State Manager of the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP).
Hajiya Zainab Abdulhadi has been appointed as the State Manager of the National Home Grown School Feeding (NHGSF) program, while Alhaji Sanusi Muhammad-Rafukka assumes the role of Manager for Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT). Alhaji Abdurahman Salihu-Maska has been appointed as the N-Power State Manager.
Governor Radda has also appointed Alhaji Abdulkadir Mamman-Nasir as the Managing Director of the Katsina State Irrigation Development Authority and Alhaji Mannir Ayuba-Sullubawa as the Director General of the Katsina State Erosion and Watershed Management Agency (KEWMA).
The Katsina State Board of Internal Revenue (KSBIR) will be led by Prof Sani Abubakar as Chairman, with several Executive Directors contributing to its leadership. In addition, the governor appointed Dr. Tanimu Yakubu-Kurfi as the Board Chairman for the Katsina State Development Management Board (KTDMB), along with other key executive positions.
Furthermore, 10 board members, including Hajiya Fatimah Binta-Bello, Hajiya Habiba Suleiman, Dr. Zainab Usman, Nasir Yammama, Haroun Abba-Gana, Dr. Kabir Yusuf, Dr Zakari Lawal, and three representatives from the Ministry of Budget Planning, Finance, and Justice, have been appointed.Alhaji Salisu Mamman-Kadandani has been designated as the Board Vice Chairman of the newly-established Katsina Enterprise Board Development Agency (KASEDA).
The governor has also approved the appointment of three Senior Special Assistants (SSA) and a Special Assistant (SA), effective immediately. These include Alhaji Yahaya Aliyu as SSA to the Deputy Governor’s office, Alhaji Aminu Maigoro as SSA for Party Liaison, Alhaji Salisu Haruna-Mashi as SSA for Political Affairs in Daura Zone, and Alhaji Abubakar Gambo-Danmusa as SA for Public Enlightenment.
