Perhaps Burna Boy finds solace in the familiarity of the Grammys, where he has become a fixture. His stellar performance alongside Brandy and 21 Savage may have elevated his profile on the global stage, hinting at future successes.

However, the same cannot be said for Davido, whose emotional investment in winning a Grammy for the first time is evident. The influence of Afrobeats may have contributed to the record-breaking viewership of the 66th Grammy Awards.

Although Davido and others may have missed out on the coveted gramophone statuette, their nominations still carry significance. As the saying goes, a nomination is as good as a win, and their recognition at the Grammys underscores the growing impact of Afrobeats on the global music scene.
