Their decision to join Kwankwasiyya is widely regarded as a major endorsement of the movement’s grassroots strength and a substantial boost to its political momentum ahead of the next elections.

Leading the delegation was Kabiru Getso Haruna, Executive Secretary of the Kano State Scholarship Board, who described the move as a deliberate and principled alignment with Kwankwasiyya’s values and vision.

“These are disciplined, patriotic citizens who have served Nigeria with honour. Now, they are bringing their experience and integrity to support a movement that champions the hopes of the ordinary people,” Getso stated.

Kwankwaso, the former presidential flagbearer of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), expressed profound appreciation as he received the group in Kano. He praised their national service and assured them of active roles in promoting democracy, inclusiveness, and development through the Kwankwasiyya platform.

“This is a proud and symbolic moment. These distinguished officers, having served Nigeria with honour, are now joining us in the service of democracy and the people. Their dedication will strengthen our collective mission to build a greater nation,” Kwankwaso said.
