According to Adeniji, the children were last seen by an unidentified resident who informed them they were heading out to buy biscuits. However, they never returned after that interaction. Amirat’s father expressed confusion, stating that his wife was unaware of anyone giving the children money for biscuits. Amirat, one of the missing children, is the neighbor’s two-year-old.

Adeniji made a plea for assistance from the public, suspecting that the children might have been kidnapped. He mentioned that they had searched various police stations without any success in locating the missing girls.

Adding to the concern, Adeniji’s brother, Lukman, mentioned that he learned of another boy going missing in the area on Monday, following the disappearance of the two girls. Lukman reported that the children, aged four and two, had mentioned they were going to buy biscuits before vanishing around 1 pm.

The Divisional Police Officer at Amukoko in the reported area, Bawa Malik, assured that they would collaborate with other police stations to address the matter. However, as of Monday, there was no concrete information available about the incident.
