Tinubu emphasized that this provision aims to act as a catalyst, fostering increased school attendance and addressing the issue of out-of-school children. He sees the N100 billion allocation as an incentive to encourage enrollment and combat malnutrition among school children.

Expressing his commitment to the initiative, Tinubu stated, “I will be meeting with local governments at sub-national levels so that we can collaborate and jointly implement an all-inclusive program.”

President Tinubu also confirmed that the budget, named “Renewed Hope,” focuses on reducing recurrent expenditure while increasing capital expenditure.
