President Bola Tinubu affirmed on Thursday the commitment to bring to justice those responsible for the deaths of military personnel in a Delta community. Speaking during a dinner with the Senate leadership to mark the breaking of Ramadan fast at the State House in Abuja, Tinubu emphasized the importance of curbing attacks on military and security infrastructure.

He reiterated his administration’s unwavering support for the military in tackling security threats nationwide, following the recent loss of 17 military personnel during a peacekeeping mission in Delta state.

“Our armed forces are tirelessly dedicated, and we will not tolerate any actions undermining their integrity and the value of their leadership,” Tinubu stated. “We will persist in defending our sovereignty and individual rights, ultimately triumphing over poverty in our nation.”

Addressing economic challenges, Tinubu expressed optimism about a forthcoming turnaround, noting improvements in revenue. He emphasized the need for prudent expenditure control and improved self-management to navigate through current difficulties.
