Speaking in Osogbo, the Information Commissioner clarified that Governor Adeleke and the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Osun State have collaborated to develop a plan for paying the arrears, underscoring the administration’s commitment to the welfare of civil servants.
Alimi further urged the public to disregard the APC’s claims, considering their loss at the polls and what he described as their detachment from reality.
He highlighted that Adeleke has already commenced the payment of two months’ worth of arrears, while the APC, during their tenure, left the issue unresolved for four years.
The Commissioner emphasized that the current administration is dedicated to honoring its agreement with the NLC and ensuring the fulfillment of their commitment to civil servants.
