Please Don’t Forget Us — Toluwanisings Widow Breaks Down In Tears At Tribute Night
Elizabeth Olayemi, widow of late gospel musician Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings, has delivered an emotional tribute to her husband, pleading with him not to forget her and their children following his death.
Elizabeth made the heartfelt appeal on Tuesday evening, October 27, 2026, during the late singer’s tribute night and service of songs held in Ibadan, Oyo State. The event attracted several prominent artistes who gathered to honour the deceased musician.
According to Bush Radio Academy, Elizabeth broke down in tears while speaking about her late husband, expressing the depth of her grief and how much she would miss him.
“Toluwanisings, my dear husband, I will forever miss you. Please don’t forget your children and me,” she said emotionally.
Her touching words reflected the pain of losing her husband and the uncertainty of facing life without him. The tribute also drew attention to the bond they shared and the lasting impact of his death on his immediate family.
Elizabeth’s emotional appeal comes amid an ongoing disagreement between her and members of her late husband’s family over his burial arrangements. The dispute has attracted public attention, placing the widow at the centre of a sensitive family conflict while preparations to lay the gospel singer to rest continue.
The tribute night provided an opportunity for family members, friends, colleagues and admirers to remember Toluwanisings and celebrate his life and contribution to gospel music.
