President Bola Tinubu recently held a high-level meeting with representatives from the global energy conglomerate, ExxonMobil, in New York. The core message from the President was unequivocal: “Nigeria has never been more primed for business than it is now.”

ExxonMobil’s Forward-Looking Commitment

Liam Mallon, who heads Global Upstream Operations at ExxonMobil, acknowledged President Tinubu’s unwavering dedication towards the advancement of Nigeria.

Highlighting ExxonMobil’s future aspirations for Nigeria, Mallon promised a significant surge in oil production. He pledged an augmentation in production to nearly 40,000 barrels per day (bpd), marking this as a new phase of investment in Nigeria. Mallon added:
