Ronke Oshodi-Oke Reveals Funke Akindele’s Hidden Side Despite Her ‘Strict’ Nature

Nollywood actress Ronke Oshodi-Oke has praised her colleague, Funke Akindele, describing her as a compassionate and generous individual despite her reputation for having a strict personality.

Speaking during an interview on African A-List, Ronke acknowledged that Akindele is known for being firm and disciplined, a characteristic the actress and filmmaker has also openly admitted to.

However, Ronke explained that people who have a close relationship with Akindele understand that her strict nature does not diminish her kindness and willingness to assist others.

According to her, Akindele has a remarkable ability to encourage people and brighten their moods, particularly when they visit her home during difficult or unpleasant moments.

Ronke further disclosed that Akindele regularly extends her generosity to people within the entertainment industry and individuals outside the sector, including people she comes across on social media.

The actress also recounted a personal experience, revealing that Akindele provided significant financial assistance to her during a period when she was dealing with illness.

She explained that the support was given privately and that Akindele is the type of person who prefers helping others without seeking public recognition or announcing her charitable gestures.

Ronke stressed that her remarks were based on her personal experience with Akindele and were not connected to any current professional relationship between them. She noted that she has not featured in any of Akindele’s recent movie productions.
