A statement released by nine members of the SWC on Tuesday detailed the decision to suspend Adams. According to the statement, the suspension is in line with section 58(1b, c, f, h, and i) of the PDP Constitution as amended in 2017. The SWC emphasized that Adams engaged in activities that are both anti-party and likely to tarnish the image of the PDP.
The statement further conveyed that, pursuant to the constitution, Adams is advised to present himself before the State Disciplinary Committee of the party for further questioning within the next week.
The PDP in Ondo State expressed its firm commitment to addressing any encroachment by the ruling party, the APC, into its ranks, asserting that it will decisively handle such situations.
