The pastor shared photographs of the bird online, describing the encounter as a demonstration of God’s power and protection.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Sylvester said he was travelling along the road when the bird flew towards the vehicle and landed in the middle of the road. He claimed that as the vehicle approached, the bird remained in place and could not fly away.

The clergyman explained that he stepped out of the vehicle, prayed in tongues and eventually picked up the bird.

In his account, Sylvester described the animal as a bird associated with unusual midnight cries, alleging that some people believe it is used by forces of darkness for spiritual activities. However, he did not provide evidence to substantiate the spiritual claims he made about the bird.

Beyond recounting the encounter, the pastor used the post to offer prayers and declarations of protection for his followers as the year draws to a close.

Referencing Psalm 110:1–2, he prayed that evil would not prevail against those who follow his message and expressed confidence that they would experience safety and protection.

His post has generated online discussion, with attention focused on both his account of capturing the bird and his interpretation of the incident as a spiritual encounter.

While Sylvester presented the experience as evidence of divine intervention, his claims about the bird’s alleged association with supernatural forces remain unverified.
