The actress, whose Lagos boutique was recently destroyed by fire, also linked the incident to her persistent advocacy for justice in the case of the late singer Mohbad.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Ojo reacted to a viral video showing a group of men protesting against her, chanting threats and accusing her of obstructing justice for Mohbad.

Dismissing the allegations, Ojo clarified that she never blamed anyone for the singer’s death. She explained that her reaction was purely emotional, sparked by disturbing videos circulating at the time, and her only intent was to demand a thorough investigation.

“I am aware that my political opinions during the last election have made me a target of intimidation, orchestrated attacks, and public insults,” she wrote. “But my views were honest and personal—freely expressed in a democracy—and should not warrant personal vendettas.”

She concluded by drawing strength from scripture, adding:
“Though the righteous may face many afflictions, the Lord will deliver me from them all.”
