Tinubu Leaves Saudi Arabia Amidst Speculation, Heads To London Following World Economic Forum....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Following his participation in the World Economic Forum in Riyadh, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reportedly made an unexpected journey from Saudi Arabia to London, England. This departure raised eyebrows as Tinubu’s media advisor, Ajuri Ngelale, had not previously mentioned any plans for a UK visit.

Earlier announcements had indicated President Tinubu’s itinerary, mentioning his attendance at a special World Economic Forum meeting in Riyadh following engagements in the Netherlands. However, his subsequent departure to London was not part of the disclosed plans.

According to SaharaReporters, Tinubu’s departure from Riyadh International Airport occurred at 12:05 am (02:05 am Saudi Arabian time), and he arrived at Stansted Airport in London at 06:35 am UK time. The journey, lasting 6 hours and 30 minutes, was undertaken using a Gulfstream Aerospace GV-SP (G550) aircraft with registration number 5N-FGW.

During the trip, the aircraft was designated as “Nigerian Air Force 1,” indicating the presence of the President on board. This nomenclature is standard practice to ensure the President’s safety and security and to avoid confusion with other aircraft in the vicinity.

A senior Nigerian Air Force official clarified the protocol, emphasizing that any Nigerian Air Force jet transporting the President assumes the call sign “Nigerian Air Force 1.” This designation is strictly reserved for flights with the President on board and underscores the significance of the President’s presence.

Tinubu’s visit to London comes against the backdrop of challenges facing Nigeria, including petroleum product scarcity, which has led to widespread hardship and power outages for households and businesses reliant on generators. Despite government assurances of adequate petroleum supplies, the scarcity persists, exacerbating economic difficulties and security concerns across the country.
