Addressing the delivery officers and planning directors present at the retreat, the presidential aide urged them to demonstrate complete commitment to their roles and underscored the importance of their responsibilities. She emphasized the president’s seriousness about holding ministers accountable for their performance, stating, “You must understand that as ministerial delivery desk officers, you are the engine room that will provide that feedback and constantly track ministerial progress and report challenges and bottle to the CDCU.”

Bala-Usman clarified that the purpose of the retreat was to acquaint the delivery officers with the framework of the delivery chain for progress tracking and enhance their capacity for monitoring the delivery plan. She highlighted the crucial role of the participants as the driving force behind the feedback essential for ministerial assessments. Encouraging optimal performance in the intense delivery plan, she underscored the participants’ significance in ensuring the success of the administration’s initiatives.
