According to Yemisi Opalola, spokesperson for the Osun Police Command, Collins, a 35-year-old Ghanaian, was reported killed on July 9, 2024. The investigation, initiated by a report at Oke-Odo Division, led to Kehinde’s arrest. He admitted to the crime, revealing that he visited Collins’ home, where he found him asleep due to illness. Kehinde then used a knife to slit Collins’ throat and subsequently dried the throat for three days. He burned it in a clay pot with ritual materials at a location in Oba-Oke village, mixing the resulting powder with soap for the ritual.

After killing him, I used his throat to make ritual soap. I’ve done similar rituals for others before,” Kehinde confessed.
