Massive Relief Effort! Abubakar Momoh Flags Off Truckloads of Flood Victim Palliatives Across Niger Delta – Ondo Gets First Wave (Photos and Video)....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

In a historic moment, the Minister of Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh FNSE, officially “flagged off” the distribution of palliatives and relief materials across the Niger Delta region, starting in Akure, Ondo State. These supplies are intended to support communities across the nine Niger Delta states that were severely affected by previous flooding.

The event took place in Akure, bringing together all key stakeholders, including the representative of the executive governor, host community members, traditional rulers, and others. A wide range of relief items were distributed, covering essential food items like rice, beans, spaghetti, along with cooking equipment, stoves, sewing machines, motorcycles, grinding machines, mattresses, and numerous other items to support those affected by the unfortunate incident.

The minister, delivering a heartfelt message from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, conveyed the President’s deep understanding of the community’s challenges and assured them that he is actively working to ease their hardships. Interestingly, additional truckloads of palliatives for Ondo are already en route and are expected to arrive in the coming days.

In his remarks, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi CFR, the Deji of Akure and paramount ruler of Akure Kingdom, expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Minister of Regional Development for their proactive support. He conveyed the appreciation of the various communities to the Minister, requesting that it be relayed to the President.
