Tangwani noted that additional vaccine supplies are expected, with the initial doses set to be administered in the affected areas: Yola-North, Yola-South, Fufore, and Girei. He revealed that of the 50 samples sent to the National Reference Laboratory in Abuja, 30 tested positive for cholera, while six were negative, two are still being processed, and 12 results are pending.
With this confirmation, Tangwani stated that Adamawa is officially experiencing a cholera outbreak, which has led to 12 fatalities—six in health facilities and six at home.

Tangwani urged residents to remain calm and cooperate with health workers conducting awareness campaigns, and advised them to practice good personal hygiene, particularly by ensuring the safety of their drinking water.
