Caught on camera, a worried Obi can be seen explaining his predicament to his vice-presidential counterpart, Baba Datti Ahmed. The clip, which rapidly gained traction online, caught the attention of Bwala, prompting a wry commentary from a Labour Party member.

Sharing the video, Bwala revealed the insight from his friend within the Labour Party: “A friend of mine, a Labour Party chieftain, sent me this video clip, which I found very hilarious. Adding his own jesting interpretation, Bwala responded: “So it seems he now has to go to the police to recover his phone and then come back to the court to recover his mandate.” The exchange, evidently amused, sparked laughter between the pair.
