Dressed in striking red attire, the RWUS protesters carried placards bearing bold messages such as: “Declare How Much You Met,” “LGA Administrators Undemocratic,” “We Are Gagged In Our LGAs,” “Ibas, What Is Your Secret Agenda In Rivers State?” and “Sole Administrator Is Bias.” They also chanted slogans like “We want to see our governor,” highlighting their demands.

Earlier on Monday, one faction of women marched in support of the emergency rule in Port Harcourt, while another staged a protest against it at Mbiama Junction, in Ahoada-West Local Government Area.
