In light of this, the Nigerian government has reassured the safety and security of all visitors in the country.
Moreover, the government has confirmed the implementation of comprehensive security measures to ensure the safety of tourists and business travelers.
This includes intelligence gathering, cooperation with international law enforcement agencies, and other strategies to maintain a secure environment.
During a session with senior media editors and executives in Abuja, Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alh. Mohammed Idris, highlighted recent security successes nationwide.
These successes encompass the neutralization of bandits in Kaduna State, a successful raid on terrorists in Kano State, and the successful rescue of abducted NYSC members in Katsina State.
He also mentioned that the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has conducted effective airstrikes on bandits and terrorists’ camps in the North-East and North-West regions of the country.
