Former Minister Aondoakaa Unveils Major Problem Facing Nigerians....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Michael Aondoakaa, highlighted insecurity as the primary challenge faced by Nigerians, leading to issues of hunger and food scarcity. In an interview with Arise News, Aondoakaa emphasized that addressing the insecurity problem is crucial, as it directly affects the ability of farmers to cultivate and contribute to the nation’s food production.

Aondoakaa pointed out that the current situation of hunger and food shortages stems from farmers being unable to access their farms due to insecurity. He emphasized that Nigerians are hardworking and have the capacity to feed themselves, but the insecurity crisis has hindered agricultural activities in major food-producing areas such as Jigawa, Kebbi, Sokoto, Kaduna, Niger, and Benue. According to him, resolving the insecurity issue would allow farmers to return to their fields, resulting in a bumper harvest and alleviating the food crisis.

Regarding the proposal to establish state police, Aondoakaa expressed support for the idea but emphasized the need to exclude them from political activities. Drawing from the experience during President Yar’Adua’s tenure, he suggested that the framework for state police should be defined by federal laws enacted by the national assembly. Aondoakaa recommended that state police should be restricted from participating in elections, rallies, and any political activities, focusing solely on addressing crimes related to terrorism, kidnapping, and other non-political offenses.
