The mother of four recently faced backlash from social media users who suggested she should drop her husband’s surname if she no longer wished to be addressed as “Mrs.” One critic went further, claiming her popularity was solely tied to her husband and implying she would not be known without the Afod name.

Reacting to the comments, Desola cautioned trolls against sending her messages privately, warning that she would respond decisively if her boundaries were crossed.
