I Hate Peter Obi!” – Edo APC Chairman Explodes In Viral Video
The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, Jarrett Tenebe, has claimed that former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi is not welcome in the state, asserting that many residents harbor strong resentment toward him.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
In a viral video, Tenebe defended Governor Monday Okpebholo, who had previously stated that Obi must seek permission before entering the state.
The governor’s remark sparked criticism, but Tenebe stood by him, insisting that the comment was justified due to what he described as widespread dislike for Obi—adding that he personally shares those sentiments. He alleged that during one of Obi’s visits, lives were lost, which, in his view, warrants extra caution.
“The governor is absolutely right to demand prior notice,” Tenebe said. “When someone like Obi comes here and tragedies occur, it’s only reasonable for the government to be informed in advance so that people like us—who have strong feelings—can be kept out of the way.
The criticism of the governor is baseless,” he added. Tenebe also took aim at the African Democratic Congress (ADC), warning the party to steer clear of state politics, declaring that only the PDP remains as a viable opposition force in Edo.
