The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) has announced that it successfully delivered a cumulative minimum of 620 hours of electricity supply to Band A customers within its coverage area over the past two months. This accomplishment was confirmed during a performance evaluation period monitored by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC).

Acting Managing Director Francis Agoha stated, “IBEDC is pleased to announce that we have provided a cumulative minimum of 620 hours of electricity supply to our Band A customers over the past two months, as confirmed during a monitored performance evaluation by the Regulator.”

He further highlighted the company’s proactive approach to improving service, noting the approval received to upgrade a total of 83 feeders since April, consisting of 34 11kV and 49 33kV feeders. Agoha emphasized IBEDC’s commitment to meeting service delivery expectations across different tariff bands and assured ongoing network enhancements to ensure consistent and reliable electricity supply.

IBEDC expressed appreciation for the support of its customers and the Regulator, underscoring its dedication to service excellence and continuous improvement in providing reliable electricity to its valued customers.
