He further outlined what he sees as Nigeria’s three immediate priorities to tackle insecurity:

  1. Protecting lives and property – ensuring the safety of citizens is paramount.

  3. Investing in education – neglecting millions of out-of-school children today will create future security threats.

Obi warned, “A child who is five or ten today without education could become a terrorist or a societal problem in 20 years. We must invest in them now.”
