According to Opalola, the deployment of the new CP follows the recent redeployment of the former Commissioner of Police, CP Isyaku Mohammed. The incoming Commissioner reported to the state police command in Osogbo on Thursday.

Bzigu Dali Kwazhi hails from Mildu Shalmi, Madagali L.G.A. of Adamawa State. He holds a B.A. in History/Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and is an alumnus of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos.

Commencing his career in the Nigeria Police Force in May 1992 as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (Cadet ASP), Kwazhi has served in various capacities across different states in Nigeria and internationally. His expertise spans administration, operations, and investigations within the Nigeria Police Force.

Kwazhi’s notable assignments include serving as a contingent commander for Nigeria’s formed police units in the United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL). He also held the positions of Pioneer Police Logistics Officer/NCC, Team Coordinator for the ECOWAS mission in Guinea-Bissau, and Chief of Training at the Department of Peacekeeping Operations, FHQ Abuja, among other roles.

His extensive experience and diverse roles make Commissioner Bzigu Dali Kwazhi a valuable addition to the Osun State Police Command, ensuring continued effective leadership in maintaining law and order within the state.
