Sani recounted an incident from five years ago when leaders and elders of the Adara ethnic groups were allegedly unjustly arrested by the Kaduna State Government. This action followed a terrorist attack that claimed the lives of Adara people. The former senator painted a grim picture of the area, describing the kidnapping of over 50 farmers and the abduction of the Emir of Kajuru three years ago, who was released after a ransom was paid.
The post also mentioned the Bethel Baptist High School kidnapping in 2021, which occurred in Kajuru LG. Additionally, Sani highlighted the tragic killing of the paramount ruler of the Adara ethnic group, Agom Adara Maiwada Galadima, who was coincidentally murdered after a meeting with an unnamed state Governor in 2018.
Summing up the alarming situation in Kajuru, Sani emphasized that the area has become a favored hotspot for terrorists in Kaduna State. He noted the unsettling reality that residents have to navigate their daily lives, contending with bandits during the day and terrorists at night. The recent incident involved the kidnapping of 42 individuals, further underscoring the ongoing security challenges faced by the community.
