Secretary General of the YCE, Oladipo Oyewole, emphasized in an interview with Vanguard the importance of giving President Bola Tinubu’s administration an opportunity to handle the issue through the Ministry of Livestock Development. He highlighted the role of state governors in enhancing security measures to safeguard citizens’ lives and property.

“While acknowledging Igboho’s activism for the liberation of the Southwest from Fulani jihadists and hegemony, the YCE advocates for patience and cooperation,” Oyewole stated. “We urge all self-determination groups, including Igboho, to await the effectiveness of the new ministry’s directives before taking any drastic actions.”
