Tension Rises: Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Confronts Christopher Musa Over Leadership

In a strongly worded message shared on her official social media page on Monday, the senator condemned the killings, describing the incident as yet another indication that many Nigerians remain vulnerable.

She also expressed disappointment, noting a disconnect between the assurances given by the defence chief during his Senate screening and the current security situation.

Akpoti-Uduaghan urged him to take responsibility by delivering concrete results, stressing that Nigerians expect more than promises.

“General Christopher Musa, the tragedy in Angwan Rukuba highlights the continued insecurity facing our people. During your Senate screening, your assurances gave hope, but the current reality tells a different story.

“Now is the time to prove your leadership by safeguarding lives, or step aside. Nigerians are tired of condolences and excuses—they want real action, protection, and results,” she said.
