Expressing gratitude for overcoming the challenges of 2023, Governor Uzodimma believes that 2024 holds promise for better days. He highlighted President Tinubu’s introduced reforms on May 29, 2023, aimed at economic recovery, alleviating hardship, strengthening the Naira, fostering economic growth, job creation, and making Nigeria great again.

Acknowledging initial challenges with some of these policies, such as the high cost of goods, Governor Uzodimma emphasized their necessity to address existing difficulties. He mentioned the distribution of palliative materials in Imo state towards the end of the previous year, recognizing the significance of supporting citizens, especially during festive seasons.

Governor Uzodimma clarified that the truckloads of rice distributed were personal donations from President Tinubu to Christians as gifts in the South East. He involved Imo State CAN to ensure the seamless distribution of these gifts across Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi, and Imo.

CAN Chairman in Imo, Rev. Eches Eches, praised President Tinubu’s efforts in welfare provision and Governor Uzodimma’s commitment to uplifting the Christian community. The CAN Chairmen of the South East States presented the governor with an African Study Bible as a gesture of appreciation for his contributions to the people and the Church.
