President Tinubu emerged victorious about ten months ago following a presidential poll organized by the electoral body, INEC. He triumphed over the presidential candidates of the PDP, LP, and NNPP – Atiku, Peter Obi, and Rabiu Kwankwaso, respectively – by a significant margin of votes, owing to their internal divisions and disagreements stemming from their shared initial party affiliation with the PDP.

The race for the 2027 presidency has already commenced, with political heavyweights such as Peter Obi and former Kaduna State Governor El-Rufai engaging in consultations with stakeholders amid widespread speculations.

Reacting to these speculations, Deji Adeyanju unveiled that despite President Tinubu’s track record of delivering dividends of democracy in his ten months in Aso Rock, he is poised to secure victory once more due to the lack of credible opposition.

He further suggested that both Obi and El-Rufai would ultimately throw their weight behind Tinubu in the 2027 elections.
