President Tinubu Revokes Appointment Just Hours After Announcement And See The Reason why

The original announcement highlighted Danfulani’s qualifications, including a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Arts and Management from the University of Hertfordshire, UK. It also noted his extensive experience in banking, computing, and business administration, with past roles at the Central Bank of Nigeria and as Commissioner for Commerce and Industry in Zamfara State. The statement emphasized President Tinubu’s confidence that Danfulani and other appointees would bring fresh commitment and progress to their respective organizations.
However, shortly after the announcement, an updated statement revealed that President Tinubu had approved the renewal of Fatima Umaru Shinkafi’s appointment as Executive Secretary of SMDF/PAGMI, with Danfulani’s appointment being canceled due to no vacancy in the agency.
Onanuga’s updated statement clarified that Shinkafi, originally appointed by former President Muhammadu Buhari, has been instrumental in driving reforms in the solid minerals sector.
