Adamawa: Police Officer Found Murdered In Latest AttackThe Adamawa State Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of a police officer, Ibrahim Maizabuwa. Nguroje explained that the arrests followed a report filed by the officer’s son, Danlami Ibrahim Maizabuwa, who alerted the police on November 19, 2024, about the incident. Investigations revealed that the officer was killed and subsequently buried in the community after visiting his friend, Ezekiel Kefas.

Kefas, during interrogation, claimed that a group of thugs attacked the officer after he allegedly vandalized property and assaulted people in Kefas’ house. According to Kefas, the officer caused a disturbance by destroying items, including a pot of soup and water, which led to an outcry from women and children. This, he said, prompted the thugs to attack the officer, beating him to death with sticks.

Kefas further identified the individuals responsible for the killing as Yakubu, Suleiman, and Kilyobas. However, when they went to the homes of the accused, no one was found.
