The strategic objectives of the program include empowering young entrepreneurs by offering tailored financial products, training, and support to build sustainable businesses and drive Nigeria’s economic growth.
The FGN/ALAT Digital and SkillNnovation Hub will serve as a centralized platform providing cutting-edge digital skills, mentorship, and networking opportunities for tech-savvy youths and young entrepreneurs.
The focus is on promoting entrepreneurship, skills development, and integrating young employees into the workforce.
One million young adults will receive training in various digital fields, and 500,000 SMEs will benefit from mentorship and upskilling programs for business growth.
As part of this initiative, the federal government, in collaboration with WEMA Bank, will allocate N500 million in grants to SMEs and Techpreneurs to support their growth and contribute directly to the country’s economy.
