He specifically called for the application of these lessons to ensure free and fair gubernatorial elections in Kogi, Imo, and Bayelsa.
While celebrating President Tinubu’s victory in the tribunal, Babarinde also urged the president to display magnanimity in victory and be open to criticism and suggestions from citizens for the sake of good governance.
He emphasized that the pinnacle of the tribunal process was the judgment that dismissed the petitions filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party candidates on the grounds of lacking merit.
Babarinde emphasized that, now that the petitions have been resolved, Nigerians should prioritize the nation’s interests by bringing forward innovative ideas, irrespective of their political affiliations, to contribute to the nation’s greatness.
