Mr. Prince Adewale Omolayo, the Public Relations Officer of the company, explained during the ceremony that the generous donation was part of the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. He expressed the company’s desire to extend support to Motherless Babies Homes across Ondo State, bringing together nearly 10 orphanage homes for the occasion. The aim was to distribute palliatives and celebrate the Yuletide season with these homes.
Omolayo detailed the extensive preparations made, anticipating the participation of 250 to 300 children from the orphanages. The company had coordinated with the leadership of homes in Akure and its environs, ensuring a substantial quantity of rice, indomie, and cash for distribution. The event witnessed the arrival of some children, with more expected to join, reflecting the company’s commitment to making a significant impact.
Mr. Emmanuel Adaramola, the Executive Director of the Emmanuel Children World Foundation, praised Ondo-Lynyi Industry Limited for its compassionate gesture. He emphasized the importance of such contributions in supporting orphanages to provide adequate care for the children. Adaramola expressed hope for a continued partnership with the company, highlighting the significance of assistance from various organizations in ensuring the well-being of the children, especially during festive seasons. He shared that the foundation had previously hosted over 200 children on December 27, 2023, representing various rural and economically disadvantaged communities, creating an environment of joy and celebration with food items and festivities.
